About Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute: Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute is an engineering college which was established in the year 1887 and is located in Mumbai. The main goal of the university is to achieve global leadership in the field of technology and develop such a human resource which will serve society. It is one of Asia’s oldest engineering schools. According to NIRF 2022, the institute is ranked 84 in the engineering category. The college offers a variety of undergraduate, graduate, postgraduate, diploma, and doctoral programmes. Admissions are handled separately by the Directorate of Technical Education and five additional independent institutions in Maharashtra.
