History and Background
The Vasantraodada Patil Institute of Management Studies and Research (VPIMSR) is on the Sangli-Miraj Road at Wanlesswadi, Sangli, near Bharati Hospital. It started in 1984. VPIMSR belongs to a trust founded in 1976 by Dr. A.D. Shinde, a former Dean of Shivaji University and a chartered accountant. The trust also runs CSIBER in Kolhapur. The institute offers the MBA, MCA, M.Com, BBA, BCA and a Diploma in Business Management.
