History and Background
About The Oxford College of Business Management, Bangalore The Oxford College of Business Management was set up in 1994 and runs from the HSR Layout campus of The Oxford Educational Institutions in south-east Bengaluru. The group is managed by the Children's Education Society, which educationist S. Narasa Raju founded in 1974. The society has grown well beyond management studies. Its institutions cover medicine, dentistry, engineering, architecture, pharmacy, nursing, physiotherapy, law, hotel management, teacher training, pre-university and schools. They are spread across five campuses at J.P. Nagar, Bommanahalli, HSR Layout, Hongasandra and Attibele, about 50 acres in all. The business college's main programme is the two-year, four-semester MBA, which is affiliated to Bangalore University and approved by AICTE. Students usually specialise in: Finance Marketing Human Resources MBA admission in Karnataka goes through PGCET or KMAT, and CAT and other national test scores are also accepted. Applicants need a recognised bachelor's degree with the minimum marks set by the university and AICTE. Being part of a large group means business students share a campus network with engineering, pharmacy and hotel management colleges.
