About Thangal Kunju Musaliar College of Engineering (TKMCOE)
History and Background
TKM College of Engineering, Kollam, was established in 1958 by Janab Thangal Kunju Musaliar under the TKM College Trust. It is the oldest private-sector engineering college in Kerala. The college began with 120 students in three branches. It now admits more than 1,000 students a year across nine UG programmes and about 250 across 10 PG programmes. All its departments are approved research centres of APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, and AICTE has chosen it as a Margadarshan mentor institute.
