History and Background
Thakur College of Science and Commerce says Thakur Educational Trust started it in 1992 with one junior science division of 58 students. UGC conferred autonomous status, affiliated to the University of Mumbai, for ten years from 2019-20. The college says it is NAAC accredited and standardised under ISO 21001:2018, and that it has a Ph.D centre in chemistry, zoology and physics.
