About Swami Devi Dyal College of Law, Panchkula Swami Devi Dyal College of Law is part of the Swami Devi Dyal Group of Professional Institutions (SDDGPI), whose campus is at Golpura near Barwala in Panchkula district, Haryana. The campus lies about 30 km from Chandigarh and about the same distance from Ambala, which has a major railway junction. The group is run by the Swami Devi Dyal Hi-Tech Education Academy, a society registered in 2000 under the Haryana societies law. The law college started in 2007. It is approved by the Bar Council of India and affiliated to Kurukshetra University, which sets the syllabus, holds the examinations and awards the degrees. Two programmes are offered: B.A. LL.B. (five-year integrated), open to students after Class 12 LL.B. (three-year), open to graduates Teaching combines classroom lectures with practical training, and students take part in the college's community outreach work.
