About St Miras College For Girls
History and Background
About St Miras College For Girls, Pune St. Mira's College for Girls has been teaching women in Pune since 1962. The campus is at 6, Koregaon Park, in one of the city's older neighbourhoods. The college is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) and has empowered autonomous status, which lets it design its own syllabus, credits and exams. NAAC has accredited it with an A grade. Programmes cover arts, commerce, science and management, from first degree to doctorate: B.A. B.Com. B.Sc. BBA and BBA (Computer Applications) M.A., M.Com. and M.Sc. Ph.D. The college has redesigned its curriculum, credit system and learning outcomes to match the National Education Policy 2020. It also runs junior college (FYJC) classes, so students can join at Class 11 and continue to a degree on the same campus. Admissions are online through the college's Vriddhi portal. For 2026-27, the last date for undergraduate applications was 30 June, and merit lists for FYJC and first-year degree courses came out on 5 July. Admission takes five steps, from registration to fee payment, and the admissions helpdesk answers questions on eligibility, documents, fees and hostel places.
