St. Ann's College for Women, Santoshnagar Colony, Mehdipatnam, Hyderabad, says on its NAAC self-study report that it was established on 5 October 1983. The report calls it a minority college affiliated to Osmania University, recognised by UGC under 2(f) and 12(B), and granted autonomy on 29 April 2015. The college's 2025 handbook says the fourth NAAC cycle gave it an A grade with CGPA 3.24 out of 4. The management page says postgraduate programmes began in 1991.
