History and Background
Srirama Chandra Bhanja Medical College and Hospital, called SCB Medical College, is a government medical college in Cuttack, Odisha. It is named after Sriram Chandra Bhanj Deo, Maharaja of the Mayurbhanj princely state. Wikipedia records the college as established on 1 June 1944. The campus is near Mangalabag and Ranihat, in the city of Cuttack. The city stays Cuttack. The college website scbmch.in redirects to the Government of Odisha site scbmch.odisha.gov.in. Wikipedia lists the college as affiliated to Odisha University of Health Sciences and recognised by the National Medical Commission.
