About Sathaye College
History and Background
Sathaye College is an autonomous college on Dixit Road, Vile Parle (East), Mumbai, run by the Parle Tilak Vidyalaya Association, which was founded in 1921. It opened in 1959 as an Arts and Science college, added a Commerce faculty in 1982, and is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. The college holds autonomous status for 2021-31 and has been re-accredited with an A grade by NAAC in its third cycle. Its courses include B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, B.Sc. IT, B.Com (Management Studies) and BAMMC, with postgraduate and PhD options.
