About Sal Institute of Management, Ahmedabad SAL Institute of Management is the business school of SAL Education, a group that runs seven institutes on a single campus opposite Science City on the Sola-Bhadaj Road in Ahmedabad. The management institute shares the campus and its facilities with the group's engineering, pharmacy and architecture colleges. The institute offers: MBA with specialisations in Human Resources, Finance and Marketing BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), a doctoral-level programme treated as equivalent to a Ph.D. Having seven institutes on one site gives the campus a wide mix of students. The other SAL colleges run diplomas in computer engineering and IT, B.E. in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation and Computer Science, plus BCA, B.Pharm and Pharm.D, B.Arch and M.Arch, and MBBS. Management students therefore study next to engineers, pharmacists and architects, and that can be useful for group projects and events. The group announces management-quota and vacant-quota rounds every year for courses such as BBA. A central training and placement cell works across the SAL institutes. It runs skill-building sessions and career guidance, and it works with a shared network of recruiters. An international department supports exchange programmes and overseas students.
