About Rustomjee Academy for Global Careers, Mumbai Rustomjee Academy for Global Careers (RAGC) is a vocational training institute set up in 2008 by the Rustomjee group in the Mumbai region. Its stated aim is to make vocational education a first choice for young people rather than a fallback. Since it opened, RAGC says it has trained more than 80,000 learners in automobile, electrical, hotel management, construction and business trades. The academy's model is built around workshop training, instructors from industry and tie-ups with employers so that students get real job exposure. It offers a ladder of courses, from short certificates to vocational degrees: Certificate Course in Cookery, Bakery and Confectionery Diplomas after 10th under the Maharashtra State Board of Skill, Vocational Education and Training (MSBSVET), in auto engineering, hotel operations, electrical engineering and building construction supervision B.Voc after 12th in Automobile, Hotel and Hospitality Management, Industrial Automation and Construction Technology M.Voc in Automobile and in Industrial Automation The B.Voc and M.Voc programmes are delivered in partnership with Kalinga University, which awards the degrees. Some of them, such as the automobile and industrial automation tracks, are industry-embedded, with training built around partner companies. The diploma courses carry MSBSVET certification. RAGC also runs other skill programmes, including a MahaRERA real estate agents training course and the VIA Themis Rustomjee Skill Institute in Vapi, Gujarat. Its long-term target is to train five lakh young people by 2035 and help some of them become entrepreneurs. Fee details and applications are handled by the academy's admissions team.
