About Raja Rajeswari Medical College (RRMC), Bangalore Raja Rajeswari Medical College and Hospital sits on Mysore Road at Kambipura, on the south-western edge of Bangalore. It is run by the Moogambigai Charitable and Educational Trust, which was set up in 1992 by Dr. A. C. Shanmugam, a former Member of Parliament who also founded a group of engineering, dental and professional colleges across Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. The college is recognised by the National Medical Commission and is a constituent college of Dr. M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, a deemed university based in Chennai.
