About Radharaman Institute of Technology & Science
History and Background
About Radharaman Institute of Technology & Science, Bhopal Radharaman Institute of Technology and Science (RITS) is where the Radharaman Group of Institutes (RGI) began. The Tapasya education society opened it in 2003 as its first technical institute. The campus is at Ratibad on Bhadbhada Road, on the green outskirts of Bhopal, and the group's other colleges grew up around it over the following years. RITS is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV), Bhopal. It runs: B.E./B.Tech in engineering branches Diploma in Engineering M.Tech MBA B.Pharm, M.Pharm and Diploma in Pharmacy The group's training and placement cell started in 2005, when the first batch went for industrial training. It is guided by Dr. R. L. Gupta, a former principal of MANIT Bhopal. Students go for training at organisations such as BHEL, CPRI, Indian Railways, MPEB, BSNL, Doordarshan and the Tractor Training and Testing Centre at Budni. The Madhya Pradesh government has given RGI a Best Placement Award, and the group has also been named the Best Emerging Institute in Central India. Recent campus drives include companies such as Topre India. Hostels are on campus. Since the group also runs Radharaman Engineering College, pharmacy colleges, a nursing institute and an Ayurveda institute at Ratibad, RITS students share the campus with students from many other courses.
