PSR Engineering College was founded in 1998 at Sevalpatti, near Sivakasi, in Virudhunagar district, Tamil Nadu. It was set up to bring technical education to rural students. The campus covers 47 acres. The college is autonomous and affiliated to Anna University, approved by AICTE, and accredited by NAAC and NBA. It offers BE degrees in Computer Science, Civil, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering, along with the ME.
