About NSS College of Engineering
History and Background
NSS College of Engineering is at NSS Nagar, Akathethara, about 9 km from Palakkad town in Kerala. The Nair Service Society set it up in 1960 under the leadership of Mannathu Padmanabhan, as a grant-in-aid college with three branches. It is affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University and offers B.Tech in six branches and M.Tech in Communication Engineering, Power Electronics, Computer Science, Structural Engineering, Computer Integrated Manufacturing and Biomedical Engineering. The campus covers 125 acres and has four hostels.
