About Nrupatunga Degree and PG College
History and Background
About Nrupatunga Degree and PG College, Hyderabad Nrupatunga Degree and PG College is run by the Karnataka Shikshana Samithi (KSS), a society formed by Kannada-speaking residents of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. KSS opened its first Nrupatunga school in 1928, and the institutions are named after the Rashtrakuta emperor Amoghavarsha Nrupatunga. The college is at Lingampalli, near Kachiguda X Roads in central Hyderabad, within easy reach of the Kachiguda railway station and city bus routes. The college offers undergraduate courses in commerce, management and science, under the academic framework of Osmania University. Members of the Osmania faculty sit on its governing council along with the management. B.Com, with practical work alongside theory BBA, aimed at management and entrepreneurial skills B.Sc., supported by science and computer laboratories Commerce students can take extra coaching from senior faculty for CA, CPT, ICWAI and CS alongside the degree, and the college runs classes in communication skills and extension lectures by subject experts. Girls and students with high marks are eligible for fee concessions. A placement and career guidance cell trains final-year students for campus recruitment, and the college is registered with TASK, the Telangana government's skills academy, for placement support. Toppers in university examinations are recognised at the annual day with certificates, cash awards and books. Admission details and dates are announced each year through the college office and the Nrupatunga institutions website.
