History and Background
NBKR Institute of Science & Technology (NBKRIST) is an autonomous engineering college at Vidyanagar in Nellore district, Andhra Pradesh. It was established in 1979 and is affiliated to JNTU Anantapur. The green campus spreads over more than 250 acres. The institute is accredited by NAAC with an A grade in its third cycle, and its B.Tech courses are accredited by NBA under Tier 1. It offers B.Tech degrees in CSE, ECE, EEE, Mechanical and Civil Engineering, among others, along with postgraduate courses, diploma courses and PhD research through JNTUA research centres.
