About MIT Group of Institutions, Moradabad The MIT Group in Moradabad is centred on Moradabad Institute of Technology. The Moradabad Educational Trust started the institute in 1996. Its campus is at Ram Ganga Vihar, Phase II, Moradabad, in western Uttar Pradesh. The campus covers about 13 acres and has seven academic blocks with roughly 38,500 square metres of built-up space, along with separate hostels for boys and girls and a central library. The institute is affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, and approved by AICTE. It holds an A grade from NAAC, and some of its programmes have been accredited by NBA. AKTU's 2024-25 affiliation letter grants provisional affiliation up to 2026-27 for its B.Tech, BBA, BCA, MCA and MBA programmes. The engineering school lists B.Tech in: Computer Science and Engineering, with AI and ML, IoT and Data Science options Electronics and Communication Engineering and Electrical Engineering Mechanical and Civil Engineering Outside engineering, students can take B.Pharm and diploma pharmacy, B.Arch, BBA, BCA, MBA and MCA, along with vocational B.Voc programmes. Diploma holders can join B.Tech and B.Pharm through lateral entry. Admission to AKTU courses is through the university's counselling, which uses JEE Main or the state entrance for most programmes.
