History and Background
About MERI College of Engineering and Technology, Bahadurgarh MERI College of Engineering and Technology is the engineering arm of the MERI Group of Institutions, located at Bahadurgarh in Haryana, on the western edge of Delhi and about 20 minutes by road from the capital. The group's main campus is in Delhi, and it has worked in education for around 25 years, running everything from a CBSE senior secondary school to postgraduate colleges. The college is approved by the AICTE and its B.Tech and M.Tech courses are affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak. Engineering branches offered are: Computer Science and Engineering Electronics and Communication Engineering Electrical and Electronics Engineering Civil Engineering Mechanical Engineering The wider group also runs an AICTE-approved management college with MBA, PGDM and MCA programmes, a teacher training institute offering D.El.Ed and ECCE recognised by the NCTE and the Delhi Directorate of Education, and courses such as BBA and BCA. It lists about 25 international partnerships covering conferences, student exchange and research. B.Tech admission in Haryana follows the state counselling process based on JEE Main ranks, with remaining seats filled on Class 12 merit under state rules.
