About Meerut Institute of Engineering & Technology
History and Background
Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in 1997 on the Delhi-Roorkee highway (NH-58) in Meerut. It received its first NBA accreditation in 2008 and NAAC accreditation in 2018. In 2025 it became an autonomous institute, the first in the Meerut region, according to the institute.
