About Maharaja Agrasen College, Delhi Maharaja Agrasen College (MAC) is a University of Delhi college in Vasundhara Enclave, east Delhi. It has a 10-acre campus and went through NAAC assessment in 2016 and again in 2022, and it now holds an A grade. The college appears in both NIRF and the India Today-MDRA college rankings. The college offers undergraduate courses in arts, commerce and science under DU's four-year programme: B.A. (Hons.) in Business Economics, English, Journalism, Hindi and Political Science B.Com (Hons.) B.Sc (Physical Science) with Physics and Chemistry, B.Sc (Hons.) Electronics and B.Sc Mathematics Admission is through CUET-UG and Delhi University's common seat allocation, and the college publishes sanctioned seats for each year. MAC is also a study centre for IGNOU and is a teaching centre for the university's Non-Collegiate Women's Education Board (NCWEB). Add-on and short-term courses are available alongside the degree. The automated library holds more than 43,000 books, 16 newspapers and about 30 magazines and print journals. Through the Delhi University Library System, UGC-Infonet and INFLIBNET's N-LIST, students can also reach thousands of e-journals and many online databases, with remote access. The campus has laboratories, an ICT centre, an auditorium, conference halls and smart classrooms. Vidyottama, the girls' hostel, has about 58 places across three floors, and rooms are given on merit. The college also has an Abdul Kalam Centre, a Centre for Performing Arts and Culture, Sanskriti Kala Kendra and a Civic Education Centre. Students can join NCC, NSS, extracurricular societies and green campus projects on waste and carbon footprint, and a training and placement centre helps with jobs.
