About LDC Institute of Technical Studies
History and Background
About LDC Institute of Technical Studies, Allahabad LDC Institute of Technical Studies sits at the 22nd milestone on the Allahabad-Pratapgarh Road, in village Abdalpur, Soraon, before the road reaches Prayagraj (Allahabad). The Shri Devi Chand Memorial Charitable Society started it in 2007 to teach engineering and management. It is now the main unit of the LDC Group of Institutions. The college owns its campus of about 30 acres. The campus has an academic block, an administrative block, workshops, hostels and Wi-Fi coverage. Its graduate and postgraduate courses are approved by AICTE and affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, under AKTU college code 283. Programmes include: B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical and Civil Engineering MBA and MCA Polytechnic diplomas in engineering trades such as Mechanical Engineering B.Tech, MBA and MCA seats are filled through AKTU counselling. Engineering admission uses JEE Main ranks, and diploma holders can join the B.Tech in the second year through lateral entry. Diploma courses take students through the state polytechnic entrance. The college's outlook rests on four things: infrastructure, faculty, students and curriculum. Students who live too far to commute can stay in the hostels on campus.
