About KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology
History and Background
KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology was established in 2009 under the KPR Group, an autonomous college in Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India. KPRIET is a leading institution in artificial intelligence and data science, chemical engineering, bio-medical, civil, computer science, electronics and communication, and electrical, electronic, and mechanical engineering. The college has gained its position in the top 200 in the NIRF Ranking. The college is a recognized center of Anna University and is recognized by NAAC, NBA, and SIRO. KPRIET is an ISO 14001- 2015 Certified Institution. The college offers 11 Liberal Arts programs, UG, PG, and Research programs in various engineering, technology, science, and humanities disciplines. There are 48 non-statutory committees, 33 student clubs in the college, and 56 MoUs signed by leading industries and corporations in India. The institution has a strong alum network that evolved for needs from both ends, i.e., academicians and professionals, to build a bridge between college life and career life so that the fresher graduates are made proactive to face the current challenges of the competitive professional world. Both ends shall work hand in hand to help each other achieve the goal. The idea took shape, and the formation of the Alumni Association turned into reality.
