About JD Institute of Fashion Technology, Pathankot JD Institute of Fashion Technology runs its Pathankot centre from the first floor above Gopalsons Chemists on Shahpur Road, opposite the Civil Hospital. The private institute gives 1988 as its founding year. It teaches fashion, interiors and related design fields in small batches, mostly of 20 to 30 students. At the undergraduate level there is a Bachelor of Fashion Design and a Bachelor of Interior Design, along with a Diploma in Fashion Design and an Advanced Diploma in Interior Design. Graduates can take an M.Sc in Fashion Communication or Textile Technology, or one of six one-year PG diplomas: Fashion Design, Fashion Business Management, Fashion Photography, Interior Design, Jewellery Design and Visual Merchandising. Bachelor of Fashion Design and Bachelor of Interior Design Diploma in Fashion Design, Advanced Diploma in Interior Design M.Sc Fashion Communication and M.Sc Textile Technology PG Diplomas: Fashion Design, Fashion Business Management, Fashion Photography, Interior Design, Jewellery Design, Visual Merchandising Most courses are listed at Rs 33,000 a year, the M.Sc at Rs 42,000, and the Visual Merchandising and Fashion Photography diplomas at Rs 26,000.
