About Jagannath Institute of Management Sciences Vasant Kunj, Delhi Jagannath Institute of Management Sciences (JIMS) Vasant Kunj II is in the Institutional Area of Vasant Kunj, South Delhi. It is one of the colleges run by the Jagannath Gupta Memorial Educational Society, a non-profit body that has been running professional institutes in Delhi-NCR, Haryana and Jaipur for close to three decades. The group's chairman is Dr. Amit Gupta. The Vasant Kunj campus focuses on undergraduate courses in management, computing, media and design. Several of them are also offered in a B.Voc format, which puts more weight on hands-on skills: BBA, with a B.Voc option BCA, with a B.Voc option BJMC (Journalism and Mass Communication) Interior Design Hotel Management Applicants need at least 50 percent in Class 12 from a recognised board. Selection is through the JIMS Entrance Test (JET), a two-hour written test followed by a personal interview. For BBA, BCA and Hotel Management the test has three sections, while Interior Design and Journalism have their own test pattern. Candidates who already have a rank in IP University CET, UGAT, MAT or DART are excused from JET and are admitted on the basis of an interview alone. The college keeps placement records for its BBA and BCA batches and runs cultural and sports activities through the year. A hostel is available for students coming from outside Delhi.
