About ITS Engineering College
History and Background
About ITS Engineering College, Greater Noida ITS Engineering College was founded in 2006 in Greater Noida, under the leadership of its chairman Dr. R.P. Chadha. It belongs to the ITS Education Group, which has run institutes in Ghaziabad and Greater Noida for close to 30 years. The group now has nine institutes covering management, dental sciences, pharmacy and physiotherapy as well as engineering. The college is approved by AICTE, affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow, and has NBA accreditation. The college offers B.Tech in several branches along with an MBA. Branches include Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. B.Tech admission follows AKTU's state counselling, and seats left vacant after counselling are filled under the college's own process, which it announces on its website each session. The college has been recognised as a nodal centre of excellence for Intel. It also runs short-term courses with industry partners, for example a course on zero-trust cloud security with Zscaler. It hosts an international conference on advances in computing, communication and networking (ICAC2N). In the NIRF innovation ranking it reports a place in the top-300 band. Students compete in technical events outside the college; one team won first prize at an event at the University of Jammu, presented by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha. The campus also holds an annual cultural fest and AICTE-sponsored seminars. Because the group runs dental and management colleges in Greater Noida, engineering students share a city base with a much wider student community than a stand-alone college would have.
