About Institute of Professional Excellence & Management (IPEM)
History and Background
About Institute of Professional Excellence & Management (IPEM), Ghaziabad IPEM was established in 1996 by the Laksh Educational Society, which is registered under the Societies Act, 1860. Its campus is at A-13/1, South Side G.T. Road Industrial Area, on the NH-9 bypass in Ghaziabad. The institute teaches four areas: management, information technology, law and education. Different programmes come under different bodies. The MBA and MCA are affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) and approved by AICTE. Undergraduate courses, including BBA, BCA and law, are affiliated to Chaudhary Charan Singh University (CCSU), Meerut. Teacher education is approved by NCTE. IPEM is also ISO 9001:2015 certified. The institute grew step by step: MBA and MCA, the original postgraduate programmes BBA (120 seats) and BCA (180 seats) at the undergraduate level LLB and other law courses under CCSU B.Ed through the Centre for Teacher Education, set up in 2002, with intake raised to 200 seats from 2006 MBA and MCA admissions go through AKTU counselling, using the entrance or national test scores AKTU accepts for that year. BBA, BCA and B.Ed admissions follow CCSU's rules and the state's process for teacher education. Law admissions follow the university's eligibility norms. Management, computing, law and education students share one campus, so IPEM works as a mixed professional college rather than a single-discipline institute.
