About Institute of Engineering and Management
History and Background
Institute of Engineering and Management (IEM) in Kolkata says it was set up in 1989 as the first self-financed engineering college in West Bengal. It is part of the IEM-UEM group and is based in the Salt Lake Sector V IT hub. Students are admitted through WBJEE and JEE Main, and its CSE, IT, ECE, EE and MBA departments are accredited by NBA.
