History and Background
About Hardayal Technical Campus, Mathura Hardayal Technical Campus (HTC) sits on NH-2, the Agra–Delhi highway, opposite the Raipura police chowki at Farah in Mathura district, roughly 25 km from Agra in the direction of Delhi. The college started in 2011 and belongs to the Hardayal Group, which traces its work in education back to 1962, when it opened Shiv Adarsh Inter College in Firozabad. The group's institutes share about 60 acres of land along the highway, with the technical campus itself taking up around 13 acres. HTC is approved by AICTE. Its degree programmes are affiliated to Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (formerly UPTU), and its diploma courses come under the Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh. Teaching is organised into four schools: School of Engineering, offering the B.Tech, including second-year lateral entry for diploma holders School of Business Studies, offering an MBA with electives in marketing, HR, finance, IT management and international business, plus a BBA School of Polytechnic, with diplomas in Civil and Mechanical Engineering School of Education, which runs the B.T.C. teacher training course for primary school teachers B.Tech and MBA seats are filled through the state-level entrance and counselling run by the affiliating university. The B.Tech needs Class 12 with Physics and Mathematics, and the MBA needs a bachelor's degree. Under the college's management quota rules, the state entrance rank comes first, then JEE, CAT or MAT scores, and then Class 12 marks. The campus has Wi-Fi and air-conditioned classrooms. The hostel has separate wings for boys and girls, along with a gym, indoor and outdoor games, a mess, laundry and round-the-clock transport. Students also get a library, scholarships, a training and placement cell that runs mock interviews and CV sessions, and clubs and student societies, including a cultural club.
