History and Background
About Gyan Ganga College of Technology, Jabalpur Gyan Ganga College of Technology (GGCT) is a private engineering and management college run by the Gyan Ganga Group of Institutions. It is on Tilwara Ghat Road near the Bargi Hills, on the southern side of Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh. The college posts its AICTE approval letters, NIRF data, ARIIA report and an institutional development plan for 2024-2034 on its website. Teaching is organised into eight departments: Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical, Civil, MCA and MBA. The programmes are: B.Tech in seven branches, with Computer Science and Engineering having the largest intake at 180 seats M.Tech in several specialisations, including Computer Technology and Applications, Digital Communication and Power Systems MBA (120 seats) and MCA (60 seats) B.Tech admission in Madhya Pradesh goes through the state's online counselling, which is based on JEE Main scores. The college's admission cell helps applicants with eligibility rules and branch choices for each programme. Students are active in coding and innovation events. The CSE department hosted the TechSprint-2026 AI hackathon, the Google Developer Groups on Campus chapter held a "Build with AI" event in May 2026, and the college runs internal rounds of the Smart India Hackathon. It also has an Institution's Innovation Council, an entrepreneurship cell and incubation centre, a women's empowerment cell, clubs and a Moodle-based learning platform.
