History and Background
About Gnanamani College of Technology, Namakkal Gnanamani College of Technology opened on 14 July 2006 and is in Namakkal district, Tamil Nadu. It is part of the Gnanamani group of institutions led by Dr. Arangannal, who has received the Rashtriya Vidya Saraswati Puraskar and an honorary doctorate for his work in education. The college is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai, and approved by AICTE. NAAC has accredited it with an A grade. It lists more than 22 courses across undergraduate, postgraduate and research levels, which is a wide range for a self-financing college of its age. Engineering and technology programmes make up most of the list: B.E. Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering B.Tech Information Technology, and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science B.Tech Biotechnology, Food Technology and Pharmaceutical Technology Postgraduates can choose from M.E. specialisations, an MBA and an MCA, and some departments take PhD scholars.
