History and Background
About GITAM Hyderabad Business School, Hyderabad GITAM Hyderabad Business School, now called the GITAM School of Business (GSB) Hyderabad, is the management school on the Hyderabad campus of GITAM (Deemed to be University). The campus is at Rudraram in Patancheru mandal, on the north-western side of the city. GITAM itself was founded in 1980, runs four campuses and is accredited by NAAC with an A++ grade. The school offers undergraduate and postgraduate management programmes. It works with NSE Academy, the training arm of the National Stock Exchange, on the financial markets track, and with ACCA on the commerce degree, so some students pick up professional qualifications while they study. MBA (two-year) BBA General BBA with specialisations such as Business Analytics, Entrepreneurship, and Financial Markets (with NSE Academy) B.Com integrated with ACCA papers MBA applicants need a bachelor's degree with at least 60 percent aggregate and a valid score in GITAM's own GBAT or in CAT, MAT, NMAT, CMAT, SNAP, or AP/TS ICET. The MBA curriculum includes sustainability, entrepreneurship and information systems, along with track-based immersions and internships with companies. Business students on the Rudraram campus study alongside GITAM's engineering, science and humanities schools, which gives room for interdisciplinary electives and shared campus events. GSB also offers exchange options through GITAM's partner universities abroad, corporate mentoring, and support for start-ups through the university incubator.
