About Gandhinagar Institute of Technology
History and Background
GIT also referred to as the Gandhinagar Institute of Technology, is a privately owned engineering college. The foundation of Gandhinagar Institute of Technology was laid by the Platinum Foundation Trust in the year of 2006. The college is situated near the Moti Bhoyan village and is 24 km away from Ahmedabad. The institute has received its affiliation from Gandhinagar University and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Moreover, it is recognized by the UGC. It provides the students with a number of postgraduate and undergraduate courses to choose from in both management and engineering. Some of the engineering programs offered by GIT are: BE in Information Technology, BE in Computer Engineering, BE in Civil Engineering, BE in Electrical Engineering, BE in Mechanical Engineering, BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering and BE in Information Technology.
