About Gandhi PR College
History and Background
About Gandhi PR College, Bhopal Gandhi P.R. College has been teaching in Bhopal since 1999. It is in Danish Nagar, off Hoshangabad Road, in the southern part of the city. The founder started the college to make higher education easier to reach for families in that part of Bhopal, and to use education as a way to change society. The college is affiliated to Barkatullah University, Bhopal, and recognised by UGC under Sections 2(f) and 12(B). Its teacher education course is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The National Commission for Minority Educational Institutions has declared it a minority institution. The B.Ed is the college's main programme. The college lists its B.Ed toppers on its home page, with recent students scoring between 76 and 80 percent. It also runs graduate courses, including history, and diploma courses. Faculty have carried out UGC-funded minor research projects, and the college files its data with NIRF. Admission is straightforward. Forms for first-year undergraduate courses come out after the MP Board Class 12 results, and admission follows Barkatullah University rules. Students from other boards or universities need a migration certificate. Foreign students are admitted under central, state and university rules.
