About Echelon Institute of Technology
History and Background
About Echelon Institute of Technology, Faridabad Echelon Institute of Technology (EIT) was set up in 2007 at Kabulpur, on the Jasana-Manjhawali Road in the Naharpar area of Faridabad. It is a Haryana campus, but it is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi, and approved by AICTE. That means students get an IP University degree while studying in Faridabad. The B.Tech list has grown to cover most of the newer computing branches as well as the older core ones: Computer Science and Engineering, with specialisations in AI and Machine Learning, Cyber Security, Data Science, and IoT with Cyber Security and Blockchain Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, and Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Mechatronics, Electronics and Communication, Civil and Mechanical Engineering Management and computer applications are offered as well: BBA (General, Digital Marketing and Financial Services), BCA (General and Data Science) and an MBA. Admissions for each session run in rounds, and the institute opens first and second round applications for each new batch. Teaching uses an outcome-based approach, and the college has held sessions for faculty on NBA and NAAC processes. The training and placement division arranges pre-placement talks, aptitude training, mock interviews, industrial visits and campus drives in core engineering, IT, analytics and consulting. An Institution's Innovation Council and an Entrepreneurship Cell help students who want to build prototypes or start their own ventures.
