About Delhi Metropolitan Education (DME), Noida Delhi Metropolitan Education, known as DME, is at B-12, Sector 62, Noida. It opened in August 2012 and is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), Delhi. That makes it one of the IP University colleges located in Uttar Pradesh rather than in Delhi, and admissions follow IPU's rules. DME teaches three areas: law, management and media. Its law programmes are approved by the Bar Council of India, so graduates can enrol as advocates. NAAC has accredited the institute with an A+ grade, valid from March 2024 to March 2029. Courses currently offered: BA LL.B. (Hons) and BBA LL.B. (Hons), both five-year integrated law degrees BBA BA in Journalism and Mass Communication (BA-JMC) Admission works through GGSIPU's centralised counselling. Seats are allotted on the entrance score IPU prescribes for each course. Students apply to the university first, then choose DME during counselling. The campus is built for these subjects. There is a moot court hall where law students argue practice cases. Media students use Studio 62, a 120-seat studio for panel discussions, interviews and screenings. A 400-seat amphitheatre hosts fests, alumni meets and farewells, and an auditorium and a 100-seat seminar hall are used for guest lectures and conferences.
