C. Abdul Hakeem College of Engineering & Technology was established in 1998 at Hakeem Nagar, Melvisharam, near Vellore. It is run by the Melvisharam Muslim Educational Society, which was founded in 1918 and also runs C. Abdul Hakeem College of Arts and Science. The college is affiliated to Anna University.
