The commencement of Aditya Engineering College, Surampalem (Andhra Pradesh), commonly referred to as AEC , took place in the academic year of 2001-02. The college was established under the aegis of Aditya Academy, Kakinada. The college has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) , New Delhi and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) , Hyderabad.
