About Acliv Technology and Management Academy (ATMA), Bangalore ATMA, short for Acliv Technology and Management Academy, is a small business school in the Bommasandra Industrial Area (3rd Phase, KIADB) on the Hosur Road side of Bangalore, close to Narayana Hrudayalaya. It runs a two-year MBA affiliated to Bangalore University. The campus is approved by AICTE and by the Government of Karnataka. The school belongs to the Acliv group, which includes the Acliv Foundation and a software company, Acliv Technologies. Its chairman, Prof. Achutha Jois, also teaches at ATMA. He came to teaching from the technology industry: he started companies from 1995 onwards and spent most of the 2000s in strategy, marketing and mergers roles in the Sasken group.
